Cat Game TODO List

Need to come up with name.
Need levels starting from very simple, hand crafted levels to teach the system to players, to medium difficulty, hard difficulty levels, and the boss level (serpent).
Skills for serpent - world blink and spawn PD.
Custom Levels - tweak levels and play just to get to the end (kind of what it is now), variables set difficulty.
BALANCING, improve gameplay. - can always be improved though.
Pick up multiple kittens?
Scoring system - saving kittens from PD?
Progres save/load at each level completion

New floor and wall tiles - perhaps slightly higher angle to see more? - could use more details (rocks, markings on walls, etc), and perhaps doodad tiles like the lamp before
Player character with animations and 4 facing directions.
Shadow that covers the tiles with gradient (done in code?), different for darkness and PD?
Kitten characters - need simple animation - tail move?
- Serpent character (with animations?)
- Exit / goal - pedestal of light, light shining around it, version with cat on top for perma cats in final battle.
- Start screen, victory screen, lose screen, background (what is behind the tiles), gui (icons to know how many charges of light left, and how many kittens held)
- Minimap tiles (can be simple, need to be small to fit the whole map)
- Animations for skills for both player and serpent (blink, etc)

Sun music (that can fade into night as the darkness covers the world again?) - sound effect?
Victory music - short riff
Lose music - short riff
- Boss night music
- Make sure all the music fits well together
- Sound effects for all skills, cats, serpent, getting consumed by darkness (you or cat), and perhaps a step sound when you walk.
